Recently just had my wedding reception at Rollins and it was beautiful! The venue itself is gorgeous, the views of the state capitol are amazing, and during twilight hours it takes you to another era. Everyone had a fabulous time. We just had my daughter's wedding at Rollins on August 1st. It is such a beautiful venue both inside and out. The staff at Rollins, Daniel and Paula were fantastic. I was planning the wedding from another state, and Daniel was a wealth of information and suggestions on many fronts, not just those pertaining to the Rollins. Absolutely beautiful venue! I was honored to have my wedding there. I did catering through R&M (in-house) and couldn't have been more pleased. The plated dinners came out in a timely manner and the chicken was superb! Daniel was helpful with all of his suggestions and went out of his way to make our experience enjoyable. The Mansion was landscaped beautifully and the inside was clean. Everything went without a hitch. I cannot wait to see pictures from our special day as they will be as stunning as this venue!
I had my wedding there and the venue was absolutely stunning. Paula, who answers phone calls and emails is such a sweetheart and so easy to work with. Daniel on the other hand, is not. He works with the alcohol and caterers and he is a do it my way or the highway kind of guy. He was a person who read off his resume to you, when you didn't ask, which makes me wonder why he is no longer working at the very prestigious wedding venues anymore. Great Place to have a wedding. Staff was easy to work with and did a great job the night of my daughters wedding.
Wonderful venue and very easy to work with! My husband and I had local "elopement" here, and our day was perfect. It's such a blank slate to work with, but there's enough character that you don't need to do much. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone looking for a venue!
