I took my family out for a 1/2:day boat rental on their 18 ft paio boat. Everything was great. staff was friendly, boat worked flawlessly, and the weather was great. I will be renting from them again.
This business has new owners who are AMAZING! So much fun! The negative reviews are a reflection of the old owners.
I brought my family up to Rollins lake from Yuba City (about an hour and a half drive). Upon arriving, we paid a hefty $17 entry fee only to find a small beach with no shade right next to the boat launch. We assessed the situation for ten minutes and determined it was not a good fit for my family and dog and decided to leave. We checked out with the lady at the front office, who knew we had spent a few minutes inside, and would not refund our money. Seriously the rudest people we have met running a business. We were constantly being yelled and screamed at by the 2 guys. The woman was very argumentative. They accused us of stealing 2 kids life jackets but we didn't have any kids life jackets to begin with. They put a rev limiter on the pontoon boat so you can't go more then about 10 miles per hour. Not allowed to pull a tube behind the boat. Took forever to get anywhere on the lake because the boat was so slow. You can only use their dock so you couldn't even stop at any... read more
Never got to go camping there as my dad got sick and tragically passed away... Rollins lake sadly would not refund our deposit. Or make any other arrangements with our grieving family...
