Lover Dr E - he service both my husband and I and is quick, efficient and very thorough. Yes I do have to wait sometimes because he has no intake coordinator but I don't mind.
I was looking for a new optometrist after mine retired. Dr. E performed tests which were not covered by my vision insurance without first telling me there would be an additional cost. The bill for the appointment was surprisingly high. Dr. E gave me a prescription that was so weak that it made it very difficult for me to see road signs. While Dr. E gave me a stronger prescription after my "trial-run," the prescription is still not as crisp as the lenses in my old glasses. Dr. Engstrom is a fine eye doctor. I think the problem is he does not have a secretary, which puts him behind on appointments. When I came in for my first appointment I waited over a half hour past my scheduled time to be seen. Then, when I returned another day to pay my bill, he was with a patient. I ended up waiting 30 minutes again and had to leave because I had another appointment.
Have been going there for years. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Went someplace else and was sorry! Have now come back!
