Dr. Roland never followed through. I never got a call from a physical therapist as he said. He never ordered a blood test after I emailed him my previous blood test results. I never got reply to any of my questions. Most importantly, his charge was way excessive, almost $400. I went to a specialist at USF, and it was only $125. When Dr. Roland said he would have his students assess me during my visit, I asked if it would be expensive. He said no, so I agreed to have it done. Dr. Roland Staud's motives are a mystery to me, but his actions are not. I went to his office for help with two chronic illnesses (one just needs management, but the other needs re-diagnosis AND management). In the few appointments we had together, he offered absolutely no assistance for my first chronic illness that he has full diagnosis and records for, even though that was 1 of the 2 major reasons I went to get set up with him. Dr Staud has been with me on my journey with Fibromyalgia since day one!! During every appointment,he makes it his business to actually "check in on ME,not it." Personally,that matters to me. His staff are pretty thoughtful and hands on as well. I brag about him every chance I get...seriously. It's not that easy to cross paths with a specialist that's so invested. I appreciate being heard and cheered on by a awesome person!!
