Dr. Kedia made me feel confident about getting my pacemaker. His staff and Rhonda were magnificent they explained everything to me in detail. It was a little scary, but I don't regret it. I am so happy that I got it done. If any of you feel scared it's normal. I am so comfortable staying alone, knowing that this device can save my life.
I'm 75 and for the past 6 years have been fighting periods of Afib with medication which didn't do the job. My cardiologist recommended Dr Kedia for an ablation. Since my ablation for Afib, I haven't had any recurring issues. I am a 83 year old man that was referred to Dr. Kedia by a cardiologist for an ablation procedure of my heart. My choices were medication to manage my atrial fibrillation or ablation of my heart to eliminate A fib.. I chose the latter so I didn’t have to deal with the side effects of the medication, and the danger of getting a stroke from a blood clot. This was a critical decision. Dr Rohit Kedia of the Carondelet Medical Group is concerned with patient safety and a successful procedure. CT scan and bloodwork very close to the day of procedure so data is current. He is respectful, listens and answers all questions and explains well. His staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and I felt comfortable with them also. Follow up is good.
my sinus rhythm was severely abnormal a few years later after having a 1st ablation performed in 2017. He told me his honest opinion about the procedure and the percentages were low as the symptoms been over a year. He performed my 2nd cardiac ablation in January 2022 (at Saint Joe's Hospital here in Tucson) and spent extra time inside my heart chambers to do his best to correct the cause instead of rushing thru the procedure. I usually don't write reviews but I must with this doctor I feel he saved my life and gave me a second chance to live. He deserves more than five stars he is excellent at what he does very professional and caring and that's important.
No waiting (a holiday). Immediately in to have the Pacemaker function and reports evaluated (by the manufacturer's reps). Dr Kedia came immediately thereafter, evaluated results, a bit of Q&A, and I was done. Great!
My 87 year old mother who recently moved to AZ was referred to Dr. Kedia for her pacemaker as a f/u to a recent ER visit. We found Dr. Kedia to be very professional, educational, patient and willing to answer and explain in detail all of our questions and concerns. We will definitely follow up with him on all our cardiac and pacemaker needs. Highly recommend his services ??
