I went to see Dr Gershfeld in 2017. He performed a root canal that now, not even three years later, needs to be redone. It got infected because the job was so poorly done. He is not a root canal specialist. Go see a specialist if you need a root canal. In my case, his mistakes may have some serious consequences as the abscess happened while I’m undergoing chemotherapy which makes me more prone to infections. I am so upset that he was so careless. The dentist is a scatterbrain! His dental hygienist basically bosses him around. To make matters worse the office is dirty.
Dr. Gershfeld has been our family dentist for years! He has a very easy hand and shots are pain free. The staff is very friendly and the office is super clean. We never have to wait to be seen. The office always follows up on annual appointments and cleaning reminders. The doctor always spends time explaining every thing and answers all of my questions and addresses my concerns.
