After being diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer I was referred to The university of Michigan cancer center . Dr. Nathan was my surgeon I’m still alive and doing well. I can’t thank my surgeon and his team and the nursing staff enough . I was given a second chance at life and I’m thankful for it . Both of my stays were very good all things considered. This was definitely the best place I could gone to for my diagnosis of cancer . Thank you all for making such a serious issue go well . Matthew M.Austin

The staff are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. 100% I agree to that. My issue with getting treatment there was their time management. I felt like “just a number”. Literally. When I had a lab appointment, I’d show up, actually be given a number and then have to wait at least 30-45 minutes before I was called back. It was frustrating when I’d have my port numbed and then have to wait. The lidocaine would wear off. Ouch!! My oncologist kept me waiting 90 minutes past my scheduled time once.
