I actually really like Dr.Pena. I moved to Nevada and had the challenge of finding a new doctor after having been with my prior doctor who was excellent for 15 years. I’m glad I chose Dr. Peña. I’ve found he’s genuinely interested in my health and partnering with me to address my health concerns and issues. I’m not as enthusiastic about how Valley Health Physicians is run and their botched EMR system rollout, but it’s a trade off I guess for having a good doctor.
Roehl Pena’s conduct as a medical professional is utterly unacceptable and falls far below the standards expected in healthcare. During my appointment, he openly mocked my severe back pain, dismissively asserting that nothing could be wrong. Despite my persistent and desperate requests for referrals to specialists, he refused until I was in tears, pleading for proper care. His behavior escalated when he abruptly interrupted me mid-sentence, stormed out of the examination room, and slammed the door, abandoning the appointment... read more

Made an appointment a few weeks ago to see dr Pena today at 3:15pm. I walk in and front desk lady says I don’t have an appointment at all. On my mom, on everything I love I made an appointment for today at 3:15pm, had it written down as I was on the phone. Either they didn’t put it in or the system glitched i don’t know but I made the appointment and it ain’t my fault. Really struggling here just trying to get lab orders for an upcoming appointment Why is this so hard? Called 20 times already to get either an answering machine (left messages, no one calls back) or I am placed on hold for 20 mins. I also sent an email via client portal (no response).
