Dr Benegas is in my opinion an excellent caring doctor
My mom who is now 93 fell and suffered a fractured elbow and a fractured pelvis. After surgery the elbow was fixed but she was left with ulnar neuropathy of her dominant hand which has turned into a CLAW. I would have sued but no lawyer would take the case because she’s elderly. This surgery RUINED the rest of my moms life for whatever time she has left. She was an artist and loved to paint….the doctor was initially very arrogant but when I told him off he became nicer. He totally caught what another doctor missed and saved my dominant hand! I had a complex fracture he was able to perform surgery on and correct. And afterwards my hand even looked perfect with not a single scar. I was really lucky to find such a talented surgeon.
Went to Dr Banegas with minor pain in the wrist. After two visits, two x-rays, and MRI, I still have no idea what the problem is. Dr prescribed steroids and started talking about surgery (for minor pain?). No other treatment options (rest, immobilization, cold, physical therapy) were offered. Left two messages (on patient’s portal and phone) asking for physical therapy script - nobody ever got back to me.
Worst orthopedic I’ve ever seen. Came in unhappy with an attitude, not even a smile. He didn’t even introduce himself or say hello just stood there and looked at me till i asked why I waited an hour, thinking maybe there was an emergency and he didn’t have time to see me. He in result raised his voice at me and proceeded to tell me that i am impatient and rude and i could see another doctor while walking out and closed the door.
