Terrible, don't think we will be back for a while, there is no consistency, one day it's good, one day not,last night it was NOT!!!
The ribs were falling off the bones....the waitress was nice it was a great experience over all!
My mother fell in Rodney's trying to walk to the bathroom it wasn't busy and the floor was wet from the air conditioner leaking condensation, not a single employee came to check on us and other customers came over to try and help and the Rodney's employees stood behind the counter on their phones.. terrible customer service at Rodney's.
Today my wife and I went to Rodney's for the first time. As soon as we walked in we were greeted like we were family. Sissy was our waitress and was so sweet and helpful. I had the country fried steak (with white gravy), potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans and fried corn bread. Everything I had was fantastic. While not the worse BBQ around, it's not great either. I had the pulled pork which was okay and the brisket which was not good at all, there was no bark at all and was cut with the grain as opposed to against it which made it hard to chew. I had mac & cheese, again nothing special and fried corn on the cob which was just that. My wife had the BBQ potato which was just pork and cheese... no butter, salt, pepper or sour cream on the potato and the embarrassment they call Brunswick stew.
Small place that is big on taste! Wonderful atmosphere, fabulous service, and the best tasting BBQ around.
I had breakfast at Rodney's this morning and it was amazing. This is a family restaurant with great country style sides and a wide variety of food choices, not just BBQ. I am on a low carb diet and they cater to me. One of the friendliest atmosphere's. I took a colleague to Rodneys a couple of weeks ago to have breakfast and she loved it so much she brought her mom back for dinner.
