The hotel is very simple. The room is stuck in 80s. They are keep it clean. The bed mattress is great, sleep well. The hot tub is very nice and feel so great. I didn't use swimming pool. The hotel location is beautiful in Lake Placid, very closer to the village, restaurant, Olympic Center, Whiteface Mountain (skiing) and shopping.
Had a nice stay at this hotel. Great price compared to many other hotels in the area for Valentine’s Day weekend. super quick and easy drive to the Main Street. Got here and had to wait 5 minutes outside our room cause the cleaners were still cleaning our room. We didn’t mind though, always nice to actually see your room getting thoroughly cleaned. Room was clean. The worst thing was the coffee maker was junk it would not power up and work at all we tried it in different outlets same problem the power center on the night stand also did not work note the click radio.
I was here for a hockey tournament but in the ball room there was black mold all under the wall paper to the point ware the carpet and tables were wet from condensation the smell was horible and might of gotten me sick, Also there were creepy people all over and rusty meddle and leakes everywhere.
I am a local and I booked a room here only to take my daughter swimming for the day. The price was right for what I was looking for, simply a pool. Ran into an issue with my stay and had great service resolving the matter.
