We install residential, commercial, and industrial solar electric systems in the Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Denver, Fairplay and Canon City regions of Colorado. Our Sales and Design team work closely with the Colorado Springs Utilities, Black Hills Energy, Mountain View Electric, Sangre de Cristo Electric and Xcel Rebate Programs.

Hands down worst to place to work at in the solar industry. The owner is condescending to him employees, does pay them, does not clean or sanitize the business nor does he flush the toilet making the place smell like a urinal. Most importantly the owner WILL blame you for anything goes wrong or if something goes missing and does not take accountability. We want to commend Rocky Mountain Solar & Wind for yet another successful big dollar project with us in 18 years! This second project has proved remarkable! They installed a solar system for us in 2011, we were so impressed we added to it in 2013. We currently have a 26 module system that has proven to run flawlessly for 5.5 years! This system has exceeded all expectations by 17%. We have lowered the cost of our electricity by 78%! That translates into a huge savings and reduced payback time by 3.5yrs.
I would not recommend this business to anyone considering the design and installation of a ground mount, roof mount or pole mount solar energy system,grid- tie or otherwise.The owner has both a criminal and civil record including a present default judgement against him by the ******** Corporation for defaulting on payments to that company, I am in the process of pending litigation against the owner and his company for the return of an intial deposit. RMSWI contracted with Mr. **** to install 48 solar panels on several large top of pole mounts. The pole for a large top of pole mount generally requires a hole in the ground for the pole and concrete that is about 2 - 2.5ft dia X 6-7ft deep. Mr. **** insisted that we install the top of pole mounts where there was only about 1 ft of soil, even though his property consisted of several acres.
