We were advised before our appointment by two office representatives that our insurance would cover my son's visit and that we did not need pre-approval. It wasn't. Our very standard BCBS insurance recommended that the office resubmit the claim differently and the office was totally unwilling to do any of it. So we paid quite a bit ourselves for a five minute dental exam that could have been 100% covered in a normal kid's cleaning.
