If I could give it 0 stars I would! Horrible! I think they gave me the wrong meat. I have never had an elk that tasted this way and I've eaten elk my whole life!!! There is no way that this is elk! I think they even kept some of the meat, the animal was way bigger than the quantity they gave me. And this is coming from a avid lifetime hunter. BEWARE!
I brought Rocky Mountain Meats a deer, that was very well cared for and shot the same day. All the meat was labeled wrong. Most of the steaks were labels Elk and the only tenderloins that I received were labeled Antelope. When I got there they acted like they were burning the hair off, but the kid who was doing it didn't look like he knew what he was doing. I ordered roasts, but there was none.
