I am disappointed in this ER because it was highly rated to me by some peers. I took my 8 month old there for some lethargy and turning purple concerns. They were extremely fast, immediately put into a room (Which is why this is not one star). The nurse was great. Then it went downhill. They only checked her vitals, and sent us home. We were there maybe an hour, and 45 minutes was waiting for the doctor after vitals were checked. Said she was dehydrated and that's why she was purple. Update: Mike Shay from the head of the department reached out! Much respect from him and to him. He understood my concerns and frustration and was very apologetic. I am glad that they do care enough to reach out and understand that it’s a stressful time for families. My number one priority is my kid and he understands that. Most every other time we have to come here it it has been great. Today I promise you I would not bring my kid back here. We have to come yearly for MRI appts. We were re-routed here when our daughter needed a PICU stay. We were SO pleased with the level of care and concern that was given to our daughter and we would recommend RMHC again in a heartbeat! Special thank you to her nurses…Sophia and Alyssa to name a few!
