They really are a cool, well organized store. Although the staff I feel automatically think you're trying to steal and follow you and it makes me feel really uncomfortable. Like I wouldn't steal from a place that is rented out to individual who just display personal items for sale. That's wrong.
So I've been collecting antiques for over 30 years. When my family and I walked in, I felt instantly judged. I know my wife and I are gen x and look younger than we do. My two young sons, have been raised around antiques and flea markets... So they know what to touch and what not to touch. I ran a chocolate store in Westport, CT back in the 90s and that's where I learned never judge to a book by its cover. So many well off customers and celebrities didn't "look" they way you thought they'd be. I do give props to the one lady... read more
