A great place to enjoy family time and some fun on the river. RFRR has Kayak and River Tube rentals as well as cooler tubes, small coolers for rent and sell phone sleeves, and dry bags to keep your stuff dry. We are a local family owned business who treat you the we want to be treated. Book online or Call ahead, as RESERVATIONS are REQUIRED, to ensure we have openings. Departures leave at 10,11,12 & 1. My first ever tubing experience was a birthday gift from the other half who appears to be part water rat lol. We took two kids and it couldn’t have been better, the equipment was top notch and obviously well maintained, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Drop off and pick up were seamless. We wouldn’t hesitate to use again 😊

We had fun tubing at Rocky Forest River Run. The owners were friendly and accommodating and took all the necessary safety precautions. A nice family outing that’s do-able during a pandemic. Thank you RFRR!
It was the worst tubing experience I’ve ever had . The tubing was only an hour and 15 minutes when all other tubing in NC is at least 2 1/2 -5 hours . My tube wasn’t fully blown up and was deflated within 20 minutes of being on the river . I had to sit on a tube that had about 10% air the rest of the time, which luckily wasn’t very long . We got 3 tubes and I had said it was for 3 adults. They gave us one tube that had no open hole in center (like all tubes are)and was for a child . Courtney , We do appreciate constructive criticism, especially when it is accurate, but I have to provide some insight to those that actually read reviews. We always top off tubes before every trip. The tube was fully blown up upon leaving as that is one of the things we check before loading equipment. I am sorry that you hit a stick or something and burst a tube, but sadly we have no control over tubes getting damaged after they are on the river. Easy online reservations and quick response from RFRR contact. Spent a couple hours floating down the river with family and friends laughing, talking and making memories. We hope to make this an annual event fro our group.
This is the most peaceful time I have had in a while. Great family time
