I brought my dad in recently because his bloodwork indicated that he needed potassium. The RGH ER nurses were completely unable to get an accurate potassium reading, despite blood being drawn at least three times by two different nurses. The first draw was badly hemolyzed, according to the nurse who drew it, but it was tested anyway. Of course the results came back 2 points higher than a blood test done at another lab the day before. I received my Moderna Covid shots at Rockville Hospital. Every member of the staff I encountered, on both occasions was friendly, professional and very helpful. This morning, after receiving my second shot, I was walking (with a walker) down a long corridor, trying to make my way to the parking lot. I came up Greg, a member of the Environmental Services Department. He dropped what he was doing, and quickly found me a wheelchair.
