This practice fit me in for a second opinion when I was in a lot of pain, which wasn't something a lot of other spots seemed willing to do. They were welcoming and candid, and honestly it didn't hurt that the soundtrack in the office was amazing. (I'm used to Muzak during hard health experiences, and it was nice to listen to a playlist that included reggae.) I greatly appreciate that he works hard to find the best, most appropriate option for your dental health, and you never feel pressured into unnecessary or overly expensive procedures.
I've been coming to Rockridge Dental for at least a decade, and when my kids outgrew their pediatric dentist, they also joined as patients here. The playlist is always awesome, the clientele are the coolest in Oakland and the dental care is top notch. They work with our insurance and are always professional and caring. I would highly recommend without reservations
Oh my goodness, I felt like a celebrity by the time I left. Each person I interacted with was super friendly and personable, and they all seemed genuinely interested in my story. I’m traveling and far from home, but I still need my teeth cleaned! They were accommodating, allowing me to send the X-rays from my home dentist, even though I was a “new” patient. As I left I felt like hugging everyone and I had made new friends!
The office staff and music are great, but the care team felt like car salesmen. I was recommended 4 fillings, a custom mouth guard, Invisalign, and more. When I got a second opinion I was recommended ZERO of these things. I also had some disability requests which were completely ignored despite me reminding the staff. Billing was a mess too, though they were helpful sorting it out. Ive been to more than a dozen dentists offices and this was the first I left genuinely upset.
