Great stop on the way home from the airport Rocknes barbeque chicken sandwiches rock. The wait staff is great at offering suggestions. I even had one not recommend an item, saying that the dressing wasn't very good. Good place to bring kids to.
Thier thumbtacks are great! We used to love this place, and went there quite often until my son got a thumb tack in his chicken wings. We showed it to the manager who immediately took all of our food away, and insisted that it couldnt have come from thier resterant. She did offer us a new meal, but we werent in the mood for thumb tacks that night. What a shame, we'll never go back.
Great Chili here! We discoved this restaurant last year and fell in love with it. My husband loves their chili bowl. They even have refilled it for hime at no extra charge. I love thier philly steak sandwich with carnival fries!
preferred location You can't go wrong with a burger and fries. Little extras make it nicer than fast food. Buns for the burgers are Kaiser rolls, not balloon bread. Fries with the sandwiches are always hot and crisp. No problem to get ranch dressing for dipping instead of catsup. I like this Rockne's better than the Massillon one because the service here is always prompt and attentive (can be inconsistent at Massillon.)
Family Rockne's is a wholesome family restaurant. It does have it's bars and sports shown everywhere but I felt very comfortable. The service was friendly and the food is great. Very appetizing and will fill you up.
