I used to stay in Rockland 2021 was the best year 2024 got worse smh
I’ve been in and out of rehab since I was 17 years old. I’m now 27. I’ve been to probably 10-15 facilities and detoxes all over Florida. Rockland saved my life. I see the one star reviews but I encourage everyone to read this comment. I was suicidal for as long as I could remember hopeless without a purpose. After rockland I’m now grateful for my life. As a mother of a person who has been dual diagnosed...thank you for helping my son. I was so afraid I'd lose my son! Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving me my son back! I prayed God put the right ppl in his life....I continue to pray that everyday!
Can’t get admissions on the phone. I’ve called multiple times for admissions and general information and I’ve been sent to voicemail or someone who works in transportation answered. You’d think they would have more than one person working the admissions line. I even tried filling out the form online and I got one phone call I couldn’t reach. Tried to call back and haven’t got ahold of them since.
Terrible place for treatment! The intake is a joke. Several staff members are prior Department of Corrections officers. They will tell you that you will be medically screened and they don’t screen you. They will treat you as if you’re an inmate vs a citizen looking for help for mental health or substance abuse issues. When staff makes mistakes, there will be excuses, if you make a mistake you will be belittled. After intake you’re transferred to a house where numerous other clients are housed.
