I want people to be aware before seeking treatment here. I was told by Rockland that if I stepped up to a higher level of care, I would certainly be able to return to their program afterward. Trusting that guidance, I made the very difficult decision to do so. Going to a higher level of care can put someone's job and stability at risk, but believed it was the right thing to do because I was told I could come back. We came to Rockland Recovery with high hopes, but left deeply disappointed. It felt as though the focus was entirely on billing our insurance rather than providing genuine care for my child's recovery. Furthermore, it has been nearly impossible to get a response regarding questionable charges, leaving us feeling disregarded. I cannot recommend this program and feel they prioritize financial gain over patient well-being.
As a person who never attended any type of professional help for mental wellness, and even frowned upon it beforehand. The experience is definitely eye opening and not what you think or hear like on social media. I love the welcome open environment, especially in the beginning days. I definitely didn’t walk out 100% changed but walked out a better understanding of oneself and how to cope and deal with my inner self. Thank you for everything #rockland recovery
My journey has led me to many encounters with similar programs that don't hold a candle to what is provided here. The environment, due solely to the staff, is safe. I have for once felt comfortable exploring my mental health to a depth I've never gone before. As with anything, effort and willingness must be exerted.
