I was referred to Dr. Lydia Savic by a friend. I’m 5’9” & weighed about 155lbs at the time & was struggling to lose weight. I thought she woukd be a good resource. This was her advice to me. “You’re eatimg too much. No woman should eat more than 900 calories per day”. She agreed to do a metabolic panel which was fine. I was on a 1200 calorie diet & all she did was tell me to restrict further to 900 calories per day. This is horrible advice & could harm so many. It harmed me mentally & emotionally.
