I too felt rushed scheduling a routine colonoscopy but when Dr Yapp found Stage 3 colorectal cancer from that colonoscopy, he really was there for me. He was kind and compassionate and stuck his head in my hospital room and said “ we are going to cure you”. Those words were just what I needed at the time. He arranged for the colon rectal surgeon and oncologist when my husband’s and my head was spinning. Yes, he’s got a lot of bravado but he’s really an excellent physician.
My initial consult lasted less than 5 minutes and he suggested I lose weight to address reflux issues. He performed an endoscopy and has yet to discuss the results with me. It has been over five weeks. Completely unacceptable.

Known Dr. Yapp for years, always takes the time I need, and does a great job, for me and my family. Wonderful physcian, my highest recomendation.
Dr. Yapp was outstanding he and his office staff helped me and my family deal with my condition and will always be grateful. He even helped find my GI doctor in Texas when, I moved.
Dr. Yapp was very nice & he and his staff were knowledgeable. Unfortunately I felt rushed thru the whole process as dr was late getting to the hospital. The staff even knocked on the door & interrupted to again tell him he was late. I left feeling anxious not knowing why I had gone so far for an appt the dr didn't have time for. As a result I'm home educating myself regarding the procedure he recommended, its side effects and possible outcome.
