I needed an appointment ASAP to get a yellow fever shot. I want to thank Yves for making this happen. Yves was very professional and patient on the phone and she was able to get me an appointment quickly for my shot.
I am here for Immunisation/ Vaccination @ Rockdale county health department. I hv taken appointments through call centre, They said as u don’t have insurance you have to pay $21 each vaccine from your pocket for Flu, HepatitsB, MMR, tdap, Varicella total $105 and confirmed over phone. I came on time as per appointment driving 1 hour from my location. Now when I m here they have jumped up vaccine prices $463 this is very disappointing & felt discrimination from public health dept. I had appointment at the health department today. I was truly please my nurse was Dany and she was just amazing bubbly and had a good spirit. It’s not what I expected from the health department. So from now on whatever test I can get from the health department I will go there first before going to my doctors office. Go Conyers Health Department!!!
