Took my 7yo 100lb yellow lab in for an annual exam today. The office is large, clean and the staff is super friendly. My pup was nervous and Dr. Ruggiero did her best to make him comfortable - even getting on the floor at his level to do the exam /blood work. No stress/no rush makes for a great experience. I can't recommend this practice enough. Two thumbs/four paws up!
I brought my little puppy mill dachshund in to see Dr. Hollinger for the first time for a pre dental check up. Everyone treated her so nice and she loved dr. Hollinger. He was so thorough and good with her and explained everything to me.
Joanne Ruggiero came recommended to me when she was still in Bensonhurst. I work with rescued animals and tend to adopt ones with problems and needed a new veterinarian after I had been failed by three different highly rated places. Dr. Ruggiero goes as far as to sing songs to my dog to distract her from unpleasant tests and to crawl UNDER the exam table to take my frightened ederly cats vitals so he would be less afraid of coming out. Took my dog Coco to RBV with a problem with her eye...my regular vet could not see her for 2 days..I was hesitant but gave them a call...Dr Ruggiero was booked but agreed to see her ....the place is beautiful and all the workers were very nice...the doctor was great...she examined her eye and gave medicine...a few hours later the doctor called to check on me!! Well RBV you now have a new patient!!!! Excellent service!!
Dr. Ruggiero and her staff were terrific with my aggressive but lovable Shar Pei. Junior has seen other Vets who either were fearful of him or didn't care. Dr. Ruggiero and her Techs got on the floor with Junior and made him feel like he was going to feel better once he left. When giving a call to Dr. Hollander this morning he assured me that Dr. Ruggiero would take good care of Junior. She turned out to be the Shar Pei Whisperer.
