RSB has been one of the best things to happen to me since being diagnosed. The coaches are outstanding, the exercises are specifically designed to help get us moving, and the comradarie we all share is amazing. I don't feel awkward or shy, I can be me and have the support of the rest of the members. RSB is a great way to keep active and obtain a wonderful circle of friends.

I have been participating in the program for about a year. The exercise programs are well-designed, varied from session to session so it does not become too repetitious. The boxing seems to have slowed the progression of my Parkinson's. Trainers are excellent, committed, caring and the feel of the program is friendly and supportive. I try to do it three times a week and hate to miss a session. Strongly recommended.

Rock Steady Boxing is a tremendous resource especially under the leadership of the incomparable Alec! A terrific motivator, he is always enthusiastic, always in a good mood, always with an innovative class plan, and always ready to motivate us to work hard and have fun at the same time. With Alec and his equally dedicated assistants, we boxers have truly become a family working together and encouraging each other to do our best to fight Parkinson’s.

Having found RSB has been an absolute blessing! We work hard but we have a blast at the same time. I’m in better shape than I have ever been and having fun while I work out. No matter your age or your abilities, RSB can work for any Parkinson’s patient. The coaches are patient and create unique programs constantly to insure you never get bored. The classes improve your balance, coordination, muscle tone and general health. I have never found exercise to be my thing, but I sure look forward to going to box!
