If you’re thinking of sending your dog here, don’t. Our family’s 16yo, 8lb Maltese, Wilson, stayed here in august this year and we haven’t had a good day with him since, 3mo later. Wilson for the most part is blind and doesn’t have the greatest hearing, but other than that he was the healthiest, happiest little dog you’ve ever met. RecommendedI took my dog Monte there yesterday for a grooming and the staff was amazing! very welcoming and monte was so happy when I picked him up. they also gave my kiddos a tour of the place which won points in my book
The staff is incredibly friendly, and took very good care of my dog. I highly recommend this place!

Zoey and turbo have been going here when we were way for almost 5 years now and they have been nothing but happy, and I have been extremely happy with the staff and the way the pups are treated
We have two very spoiled dogs who get treated like royalty at Rock River. The staff is so kind and loving to our dogs and are so good to us as pet owners while we are away. Twice staff had stayed to help us pick up our dogs . They are excellent at sending photos and videos and the dogs always look so happy.
Absolutely fantastic to work with! Truly exemplify "Iowa Nice". Our furbaby loves staying with Rock River and the staff. Highly recommend!
this was our first time that we put our baby girl in a kennel. upon arriving to drop her off the smell was terrible, her area she was staying in the "lodge " I believe was the name had food from another dog still in it. upon getting her picked up on Sunday after hours which we appreciated we came home to a completely different dog... she refused food for 2 days, is hiding behind chairs and under tables for no reason, she is hiding all of her toys and we have not had a decent night sleep since we got home , she scratches the ... read more
We just picked up our dogs from Rock River after a four night stay and I am so excited to have finally found a place who loves and cares for our dogs as much as we do! I think they had the time of their lives by the looks of their exhausted faces 😊 Thank you go taking such good care of our fur babies 🐶
