Rude security guard .. No Buggys is dumb .. As well as someone being told they can't breastfeed. Ridiculous mall!
It is absolutely sad, that one of your security guards would harass a nursing mother! Retrain your staff and teach them the law! How could people be "uncomfortable" because a baby is eating, but they're not uncomfortable looking at all the teens with their asses and tits hanging out! Disgusting if you ask me!
Disappointed that a mother was harassed for breastfeeding her child at this mall & even more disappointed that it happened in my state. South Carolinians are better than that! If half naked mannequins can stand in the windows of your shops then a mother should be able to use her breasts in the way that God intended, to feed her child!!
It really is a shame that your employees aren't more familiar with breastfeeding laws. A mother should NEVER be approached regarding this matter and those complaining should be informed of the law. Breastfeeding moms make up a big part of your patronage and making us feel unwelcome is bad for business!
Please train your security guards on the LAW. Breastfeeding is protected under the law and a mother can do it wherever she is otherwise allowed to be-covered or uncovered.
Security guards are against breastfeeding moms which is legal but don't bother people walking around with their parts hanging out around minors which is illegal! Get it together people and get your priorities together!!
