On September 2, 2026, I arrived for my first appointment with Dr. Jennifer Perry at Rock Hill Eye Center. I checked in and was taken to the exam room. During the intake process, the nurse assisting me made an inappropriate and insulting comment, stating that I was “probably having issues with my side‑view vision because my eyelids were too fat.”She then administered eye drops that caused significant burning and discomfort. As it was my first time at an eye doctors I was a bit apprehensive. The doctor and all the staff were very friendly and professional and it wasn't horrible at all! My one negative, and the reason for a star missing, is the practice of keeping your debit or credit card on file. I'd not heard of that before and while i' do understand they need to get paid it still felt a tiny bit insulting. Also, there's a copy of my card on file there now.
