Stopped here on a whim and really enjoyed browsing. They have a great selection of outdoor clothing and some good outdoor gear, whether for biking, hiking, rock climbing, etc. Great shoe selection. Also had a few books for toddlers which I loved! Like other reviews it seems like an REI that maybe had a bit more of an emphasis on clothing than gear but it’s a great all around store.

I visited gearhead because I wanted to try on topos shoes. But there were not any in wide sizing. However, the shoe attendant helped me try multiple shoes and sizes until I found the right fit. I purchased a pair of Salomon that fit well and are comfy for walks and long standing. I've been wearing them for slightly over a month now. I highly appreciate the attentive employee who's name I've forgotten. Thank you :) I'll be a return customer. Excellent.

Bought a pair of shoes the other day that were not a great fit after walking around in them for a day. They told me to bring them back and then refunded my money. I wound up buying a different pair of shoes and some inserts for extra support. The salesman I worked with in the shoe department, Justin, was fantastic in every way. He has exactly what any great salesman should possess as he is both knowledgeable and kind. I’ll do business here for years to come.
