Underpinning a house can be incredibly stressful, and I was initially nervous about the process, but Dion and his crew quickly put my concerns to rest. I worked with Jamie and the Rock Bottom team to underpin the basement of my 100+ yr old in Leslieville. The overall goal was to dig out my basement to a finished height of 8' 2" (gained over 2 ft of head room). Jamie managed the project end to end, from drawings, permits, underpinning, waterproofing, new poured concrete floor, in-floor heating, and they left it clean and ready for my contractor to do the finishing. A very strong recommendation from us. Riverdale underpinning with drain replacement, in-floor heating, sump pump and backwater valve: Our older, lower (6'), mostly finished basement needed to be expanded to allow for an elderly family member to join our household. Rock Bottom came recommended by a friend of a friend and did not disappoint.
