I thought about switching last year but when they got a new doctor in office I held out hope. Since I worked at RIT I was recommended to go to this doctor but doctor is a strong word. You don't ever actually meet with the doctor; if you are lucky the nurse practitioner is available and she is the only professional person on staff (both in manners and skills). If you are sick and actually need them they will direct you to urgent care. No same day appointments for any issues. If you aren't in an emergency state they will book u weeks out. Than when you write anything on messages it says 72 hrs to answer but they won't get back to you. Just Useless. The only DR that is there is leaving so they will just get someone temporarily but won't hier more than one Dr to see patients or more Medical staff to help emergence cases. Get a real Dr don't bother here.
As of April 2024, they have only one NP who is on maternity leave. Dr. Wilcox is trying to attend to 3,000 patients alone. My husband is experiencing a serious medical issue and cannot have an appointment. How is this health care?
Doesn’t have time for patients. Always directed to go to urgent car. When I look up doctors accepting new patients it shows Dr Wilcox accepting patients. Some how conveniently they don’t accept appointments for current patients. I’ve been a patient for about 5 years I believe. I’ve been unable to make any appointments since.
The staff here including Dr. Wilcox are the most uncaring I have ever experienced at a practice. I had a large abcess that they wanted me to wait over a week to see them and do a video call for. A VIDEO CALL. Dr. Wilcox was also almost never available so I would see a PA but I should count my blessings. I only saw him twice and neither time was he helpful.
