This is an old time family river business with a nice piece of land right on the Brazos river. They are open seasonally in warm weather months. Make sure you call ahead and you’ll talk to Buddy. You can arrange a shuttle for a two night 20 mile trip from Possum Kingdom Dam to Rochelle‘s. The 20 mile trip is perfect for an Sat-Sun trip with the guys! They stock the river with fish in Feb and Nov, according to Sam, the driver. So I wish we had brought our fishing poles. I’ll come back again and again to this place!

Won't use again. Told one thing on the phone, made reservations, and showed up and they tried telling us something different. First, they tried to insist that we park our vehicle on HWY 16 and leave the keys in our tank for them to pick up later. In their next breath they will tell you there's a lot of vehicles being broken into on HWY 16. So, we asked to park at Rochelles and then be shuttled over to HWY 16. They refuse to provide shuttle services if your not also getting a rental. Then he tells us he will charge us $50 to ... read more
