I have worked with Robyn since 2011. During that time we have run the gamut of the design process from extensive construction through furniture installation. It is rare to find an architect/designer who can successfully traverse this broad range of skills but Robyn does it. She is as adept on a construction site refining building details as she is at the Merchandise Mart selecting the perfect trim for a Fortuny pillow. My wife and I have used Robyn for a number of projects in our condo over the last 7-8 years. These include redoing my office, my wife's office, our den, our master bath, our children's playroom, and other decorating activities throughout our condo. She is both an excellent designer and very technically proficient. We would strongly recommend her to others.
Robyn's firm was hired as architect and interior designer for a complete renovation of our early 1900's condominium. Robyn has exquisite taste and a real acumen to see potential design alternatives through the most challenging of existing conditions. More importantly she was great at articulating her vision to us and meshing it with what we wanted for our home. She is very professional, good humored and a joy to be around during what can be a very stressful process.
Robyn Shapiro Design designed and decorated my entire 4000 square foot apartment. It's absolutely gorgeous, enhances the wonderful views, and is as comfortable as it is beautiful. I do a lot of entertaining and my home adapts to any size group and always inspires many compliments.
