She was the on call doctor that delivered my baby. She was horrible in my opinion. She didn’t listen to my wants for my birth plan. I had bleeding and they needed to get a clot out she didn’t explain what she was going to do. She then shoved her whole hand inside of me. I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks and Dr. Veith was incredibly dismissive of any concerns and questions I had. During our first scan, baby had a heartbeat but was measuring almost 2 weeks behind with a low heart rate. When I brought up my concerns because I had been meticulously tracking my cycle, Dr. Veith just stated “that’s normal”. This doctor delivered my baby and inappropriately said “don’t look down here for 6 weeks” as she stitched me. She did not communicate with me or even make eye contact with me while delivering my baby. My stitches were poorly done resulting in complications and causing me to need it to be surgically repaired.
This doctor gave me the worst experience of my life. Over the past month I’ve been to 3 different doctors getting tests and exams and each one has told me what infections I have and I’ve been on a total of 10 different medications which did not work so my last hope was getting in to see doctor V. coming in I was hopeful someone could finally help me then I got in there and I had all my papers from the previous visits to show her my numbers and medications they have put me on and she did not look at it once. Didn’t listen to any concerns, due to her and her staffs neglect, I almost died. Talked over me, told me everything was normal, did not entertain or explain any of my concerns about anything. Terrible bedside manner both herself and her staff.
This is the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. I’m in my last year of medical school and I am well aware of professional patient care and this visit was in complete OPPOSITION of everything we are taught. 1. She did not listen to any part of the history that I explained which is key to my complex case 2. She did not review my chart or labs which was evidenced by her “suggestions” 3. She is just an amazing doctor. She is so easy to talk to, her staff is also amazing, she is a doctor that you don't want to lose.
She was recommended to me by my pediatrician for my son's circumcision. When she performed the procedure she had me brought back to the room to dress my son afterwards. Told me straight away that my son urinated and even got it on her scrubs. I asked her if there was anything I need to do to take care of my son. She stated no and walked out of the room. How disgusting. How absolutely horrible of a person can you be to act that way towards a young infant and a first time mother.
Terrible experience. Went in for first ultrasound for first pregnancy and they couldn’t find a heartbeat. Was not given any attention or care. Told we would miscarry by a nurse when we were at the front desk around a bunch of people. Got really sick during miscarriage and ended up in ER. Doctor Lawton did D&C a week later and told my husband afterwards that her having to do the surgery was “barely worth doing the paperwork.” It was a horrible experience and I wish I had a doctor who cared.
