I have been a patient for about 20 years. She listens to your "complaint/s" very well and always helps you. My elder parents saw her as well. She literally saved my dad and bought him 5 extra years by sending him for a MRI that showed a 6mm pulmonary aneurism. They loved her sincere interest in their care. I don't think there is a better primary care doctor in South Austin. Yes, sometimes there is a wait, but she gets to you as fast as possible, and it is worth it! Thanks Dr. P.!
I have never waited more then 20 minutes when getting a last minute appointment. Kids and I have seen Dr Poonawalla going on 5yrs now. We don't go often, mostly yearly check-ups and illnesses that I know aren't flu and cold. Occasionally back pain meds when I injury myself.
Went for physical check up and came back after waiting for 55 Minutes without even seeing doctor
