I had to provide a copy of my marriage license and my birth certificate for my husbands citizenship application. The attorney forgot to return it to me after my husband did his civics testing. When I contacted the attorney to ask her to mail it back to me I received it by certified mail. I then received my bill from the attorney for which I was charged $78.00 for them to prepare to mail the certified copied for mailing and another $39.00 for reviewing and attaching certified copies for receipt.
