Robertson's attempted to extort me for over 3x the money they were legally owed thru the improper use of a Mechanic's Lien. I was not provided an invoice, only told to pay or risk having a Lien placed on my home. Though they did have the right to collect from me because my contractor (who I paid in full) did not pay them, their representative would not respond to my questions on the total owed according to California Code, Civil Code - CIV § ****. Robertson's was hired to install a sidewalk in the front yard. Sidewalk is awful. Porous and crumbling. I will have to replace. Had other contractors look at and say it is terrible because cement was too dry. Robertson's doesn't care.
