I was excited to visit Dominic after hearing good things. His skill at assessment is clear, however, my primary request was to gain knowledge of my vision deficiencies and receive targeted exercises to improve them. Dom did not provide any exercises for me, even after multiple requests and stated desires. He maintained a perspective that my vision is declining due to age and I need lenses. We've just completed a visual therapy course with our son and has made some improvements, we have decided to try another professional for a 2nd opinion. I attended several sessions with Dr. Dom My child was uncomfortable and didn’t respond well to the environment or the practitioner. Would recommend other parents observe sessions closely and trust their instincts.
Our kids started going to Roberts Alexander after their paediatrician recommended they see a behavioral optometrist. Now we all go here! A much more comprehensive exam than other optometrists, and a better all-round experience.
