First off! I have been eating at this Roberto's for the last three years! and here recently this past month my family and myself have eat there 3 times and all time we all ended up getting sick!!!! Diarreah, throwing up, and that sour stomach feeling! I am enjoying my two days off from work in bed sick! so! I HIGHLY Recommend that NO ONE EATS THERE! The food is good, but the service stinks. First you can buy extra hot sauce in a tub, next time they can give you some, but not sell it...next time, they don't give any in a tub nor do they sell any in a tub; next time you are only allowed 2 tiny individual containers each....not to mention the service gal taking the orders absolutely never smiles, very unfriendly...it's a shame, 'cause the food is really good.

This is a CHEAP Roberto's. I ordered 2 chicken tacos they had MAYBE a teaspoon of chicken in them for $2.05 each. When I asked the cashier/cook/non english speaking manager she just smiled and repeated everything I said. I'll stick to Roberto's on Commerce they do a much better job of giving the customer what they paid for, instead of the CHEAP management on Simmons and Centennial.

Used to be a good place until the younger girl started taking orders. She can't ever seem to get an order right. Have to drive all the way back up there for a messed up burrito and didn't even get an apology.

We visit Roberto's often, usually this location. They serve fast food that is on the more authentic Mexican food side vs. other fast food places. Always very clean, staff is always nice and quick with your order. And very cheap for the large amount of food you receive. It's the only fast food Mexican we eat as it is right up there with restraunt quality. Only losing one star, like 90% of menu we've tried. Highly recommed.

During my most recent search for a reliable photographer I cam across a shop that was recommended in chula vista. Chula vista photo 619 572-5448. Today was my first, and last, visit to a Robertos Taco Shop. I ordered two beef tacos and they certainly left a lot to be desired. The meat was flavorless, dried out, and tough as shoe leather. If a Mexican restaurant is going to "attempt" to serve shredded beef in their tacos, they need to learn the proper way to prepare it. Otherwise, stick to ground beef! Take my advice -- if you want a decent taco, go to Taco Bell.
