Fabulous Italian! We go to Robertos every summer and the food is consistently excellent. The lobster ravioli was so sweet and delicious. The scampi was infused with garlic. They offer an extensive wine list and will offer suggestions to complement your meal. The waitstaff is very attentive and you do not feel rushed. I like this restaurant because they take reservations, which is key when you are with your kids and want to eat before 8:00 P.M. They are located right before Perkin's Cove.
Worst in class! My family and two other families went there with our children. The owner didn't know how to handlE some complaints from some other patrons that there was too much noise coming from our table so she verbally insulted just about everyone in our party. She talked badly about our children to other tables in the restaurant and directly infront of them. Tough to deal with the question from my 6 year old daughter as to why this woman was being so mean. We started out with the intention of relaxation in a beautiful garden setting with the promise of good food. However, what we got was nothing short of a nightmare. Best Italian cuisine in Ogunquit town with outstanding service and a greate selection of wines and food !
I am not one to hate a place and usually I am a very patient person but this place was very disappointing. We decided Roberto’s because we were looking for a nice place to end our night at Ogunquit. Roberto’s outdoor seating was quite charming and romantic. Parking was easy and we parked behind the house. They were very busy, so maybe service was a tad slow, but everyone was polite and delightful, and the food quality was outstanding. The braised shortribs is a must-try!!
