If you want to be heard by your doctor, don’t go see Dr Navarrette. He will not listen. He will not explain why he made a decision on your “diagnosis”. And if you happen to ask a question on “why this diagnosis instead of another”, he will throw his toys out of the pram and refuse to refer you somewhere else for a second opinion. He also will not place his denials of referrals in writing, to actually be accountable for his choices as a “Doctor”, and is not worth returning to.
I went to dr. Navarrete follow up and review of Dr boulware recommended test. Dr. Navarrete at DES bedside manner, patience to explain, detail in his explanation in Lay terms. Sense of humor. Very comfortable asking him questions. He did not make me feel inferior or dumb asking questions. Without a doubt I'm recommending dr. Navarrete. I am fortunate that I am cardio clear, But like everyone I need to lose a little weight. But I'm doing good for a 63 year old retired guy from Chicago.
