I have No complaints about the service given or the people working there, all were thorough and Professional, I just wonder why after 4 weeks, A red Spot appeared and had some drainage and I was told to take 2 more weeks of Antibiotics, which I did, and now 7 weeks later, Another Red Spot appeared and more drainage? Will I be requested to take more Antibiotics? Wondering if it will ever heal up completely. Also I wonder if the High Humidity of Costa Rica has anything to do with it?
Husband had surgery here five years ago. A friend asked about it recently and sending the Google link we realized we never left a review and definitely should have. We live in NC and husband needed a hernia repair but did NOT want mesh. He found this doctor and set it all up. They even helped us with some local hotel discounts. I received exceptional service from my first inquiry into the process and doctor whom would perform the procedure. My visit to office was met with professionalism and caring. Office staff were outstanding. Doctor Tomas was very personable and very informative. During my pre-op visit and his evaluation of my umbilical hernia he pointed out that I had bilateral inguinal hernia too and asked was I aware of it. Words can not begin to explain how happy I am with Dr. Tomas as-well-as the entire staff of Ufirst Health! My review may come off as brown nosing and that's because I am! Let me start off by saying, Dr. Tomas was not the first but the SECOND surgeon to operate on my hernias! My first surgery (left inguinal) was done by a Doctor whos last name started with "Y."
