Dr Shurmur is a very good Rheumatologist! I have had him for a provider for quite some time now. He has helped me so much with lupus, and arthritis, and many of times saved me from the unenviable (death). What a great provider, smart, professional, knowledgeable, and underrated. I used to live here, moved away four years ago to Grand Rapids. I have a list of speciality doctors, back and spine, neurology, & rheumatology. I get a referral to see Dr. Shurmur. I have been diagnosed with Lupus two months ago. So I am looking for new Dr here. His office calls to confirm the referral. Then she proceeds to tell me that Dr. Shurmur says I don’t have Lupus!
