I saw Dr. Goldfarb for the first time after my PCP recommended him. He listened to my concerns, was thoughtful in his responses, and asked insightful questions. He made my concerns feel validated and took my pain seriously. He offered several solutions and possibilities - which was a breath of fresh air after being pushed to try different BCP or being pushed into getting an IUD that wouldn’t solve my issues. I am kinda shocked to see the reasons why people leave one star reviews. The reason I love going to Goldfarb is because he makes the pap smears and other lady checks up feel normal. Talking to the nurses like its just another day is exactly why I go back. It can always be odd to have a male doctor so having simple conversation while having check ups is less awkward. I saw Dr. Goldfarb several times throughout my third pregnancy in 2019. He is so kind and personable and I enjoyed seeing him. Nearing the end of my pregnancy, I happened to be seeing Dr. Goldfarb and asked him to feel a lump that I noticed. Instead of brushing me and the lump off as pregnancy related changes, he ordered immediate imaging. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 weeks post partum.
