I have a 9 year old Jack Russell that was diagnosed with sever heart disease. I went to see a different Cardiologist who gave our little Phoebe 3 months to live. We were devastated. Our routine Doctor highly recommended Dr Prosek....Now I know why. Dr Prosek saved our Phoebe with specialized medication and Lots of Love. Six moths later her heart shrunk and her life expectancy jumped. She is Happy and Healthy for many years to com. Gracias Dr Prosek and your Amazing staff for giving our Phoebe a second chance to live.
I've heard great things about Dr Prosek. However others should know they are paying for an expert who's not in the picture. I still got charged the hefty cardio visit too! This is not the standard with other cardios. After a few visits I realized Prosak was not involved with my dogs at all. I only see the vet tech, who types up the diagnosis and meds and stamps with a digital signature from Dr Prosek. He does not call me after the fact, and one cannot schedule to see him specifically. I was referred to Dr. Prosek by my wonderful regular veterinarian for an evaluation of a heart murmur he detected in my dog. I took my dog to Dr. Prosek's Homestead office in February 2023 for an echocardiogram. I never saw Dr. Prosek, but the tech told me the results were great and to follow up within a year.
