Dr. Butcher has been our family doctor ever since he joined the Denbigh Family Practice. He enjoys treating entire families. He is very personable and is always ready to answer any questions that his patients have. He is always willing to listen and explain medical issues to his patients. We highly recommend Dr. Butcher! I have been a patient of Dr. Butcher since he joined the TPMG Denbigh practice over 10 years ago. He has always been responsive to my needs and I trust his judgement. When I ask questions, or offer my opinion, he never belittles my question or opinion but responds with reasoned replies.
I used to think Dr. Butcher was unusually good, and I've referred many people to him. However, he seems to have an ego problem lately and does not listen to what I try to tell him about my symptoms, making snap diagnoses that are off the mark. He also used to be quite the patients' advocate with tight insurance companies, and recently he seems to be just an extension of that evil HMO I have. Sadly, I feel it necessary to seek out another family practice physician (and different insurance).
