A deeply inappropriate and angry individual who insisted on recording our discussion even though I didn't authorize recording with my signature and I asked him to pls stop recording and he refused and continued recording me. He read the name of the doc aho referred me and I clarified the name of my regular pcp (in case it helps). He took that as me pointing out an error which wasn't my intention and looked annoyed. Dr McCoy is pleasent. Knowledgeable. We saw him when first diagnosis with sleep apnea.
Personable, knowledgeable, patient focused. Asks the right questions and spends an appropriate amount of time with patients and allows for questions.
Dr. McCoy gave me a straightforward answer to my question about sleep meds for an older person like myself. Having already reviewed my case, he got straight to the point. He explained that I can sleep without meds. He encouraged me to make changes in my daytime and evening habits to get a good nights sleep and protect myself from the bad side effects taking drugs for sleep over a long period.
