I had a disastrous appointment with Dr. Pauls, who does not listen. She cuts me off when talking, and she abruptly left the room without answering all of my questions. The recommended treatment was NOT fully explained to me. I was told AFTER the first (very painful) treatment that there would be 5 more visits to repeat. I cannot recommend this practice and Dr. Altman enough. Right off the bat I loved Dr. Altman’s energy. I’ve had traumatic experiences in personal life and with a medical practitioner. Everyone from the front desk, MA’s, and again, Dr. Altman, was superb. They made me feel safe, comfortable, and seen. Normally when I look for new services I go based off ratings. lack of knowledge
Made very inappropriate questions asking me twice after checking my cervix if I had intercourse to help jump start my labor when I told him I had not the first time. And then post-delivery went forward with my son's circumcision without communicating to me about my son's penile torsion, while the pediatrician was in process of referring us to a urologist. I had two visits with this surgeon. The procedures were painful, though I normally have a strong pain threshold. She looked annoyed when I winced or showed any kind of human response.When it was time for me to ask questions about the surgery being proposed, she became impatient and irritated by me. Dr. Muccio completed knee replacement surgery for both of my knees 3 years ago, and it went great, I didn't need to use pain medication with my left knee recovery and very little for right knee. Dr. Muccio is an excellent Surgeon and Doctor, I would certainly recommend him for any Orthopedic surgery. He also did carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands, went super.
Unfortunately, after many years, I cannot forget how this WOMAN treated me. She was rude, demeaning and just plain hateful that she was seeing me instead of the physician that did my surgery. It was not my fault the appointment was made with her. She was hateful. The treating physician called to apologize for her rudeness because he had heard from the NURSES about how rude she was. I would never go to her or send anyone there that I know. Not even an enemy.
Very easy to talk with. took plenty of time. Not rushed. Seemed very knowledgeable and straight forward. Trustworthy. I will use him for a hemorrhoid treatment.
She practically made me have a hysterectomy. I regret my choice as I didn't know I wasn't done having children.
